Spinach Refresher

Perfect in this warm and dry winter weather, you will find this Green Smoothie is light and easy to drink.

Spinach is another superfood. Rich in Calcium, Vitamin K, Iron. It has cancer prevention properties, strengthens bones, reduces your risk of heart disease and macular degeneration associated with the aging process. It’s great in salad’s, soups, pasta, and of course SMOOTHIES…

Here are the ingredients:

  • 1/2 bunch spinach
  • 1 orange, peeled & de-seeded
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 slice pineapple (2cm thick)
  • 1 cup water

  1. Interesting mix. I guess the cucumber would add structured water to the smoothie with all it’s silica goodness. Be sure to pit the orange well. Orange seeds are like little snipers waiting to bomb your smoothie with blerk. Looks yummy! xxx
